Featured Family Friendly Events in December
December 2019

Every season in West Michigan has it's unique, fun things to do for kids of all ages- from babies up to the "young at heart". Indoors or outdoors, no matter the time of year, there's always something great going on along the lakeshore for families to experience together!
In addition to the following list, check out all the special events and programs provided by Sandcastles Children's Museum and the Ludington and Scottville branches of the Mason County District Libraries!
Here's a list of family friendly events happening along the lakeshore in December:
Saturdays throughout December and New Year's Eve
Christmas in the Village in downtown Pentwater. Stores open at 11am. Caroling and bonfire from 2-6pm at the Village Green. Unveiling of new Christmas decorations.
Thursday, December 5th-Sunday, December 8th
Victorian Old Christmas Weekend and Sleighbell Parade in downtown Manistee.
Friday, December 6th-Sunday, December 8th
Manistee Civic Players presents Elf the Musical at the Manistee High School Auditorium- 525 12th St. Friday/Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Friday, December 6th-Saturday, December 7th
Letha Fulton School of Dance Christmas Show at Peterson Auditorium- 508 N. Washington Ave. in Ludington. Friday at 4pm, Saturday at 1pm and 5pm.

Wednesday, December 11th, 6:30-8:30pm
Ludington Area Jaycees Light Up the Night Music Series featuring Canopy Space at The Mitten Bar- 109 W. Ludington Ave. Fundraiser for the Freedom Festival Fireworks Fund. 50/50 Raffle and sale of past Freedom Festival t-shirts will also benefit the fund.
Friday, December 13th-Sunday, December 15th
Manistee Civic Players presents Elf the Musical at the Manistee High School Auditorium- 525 12th St. Friday/Saturday at 2:30pm and Sunday at 2pm.
Friday, December 13th-Saturday, December 14th; 4-7pm
Pioneer Christmas at the Historic White Pine Village- 1687 S. Lakeshore Dr. in Ludington. Tours, Christmas music and lights, snacks in the Town Hall. Cost is $6 for ages 3-17, $8 for adults, and age 2 and under are free.

Edgar Struble presents A Nashville Family Christmas at Peterson Auditorium- 508 N. Washington Ave. in Ludington.

New Year's Eve Festivities in downtown Ludington.
